The museum is well signposted from the A19/A1058 junction and is opposite the Atmel factory, adjacent to the Blyth & Tyne cycle route. There is free parking at the museum.

Train Timetable:

Every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from 1 April - 28 October, 12.15, 1, 1.45 and 2.30 pm.

There is a self service tea room open on event days. Toilets and baby changing facilities are available.

Also available for pre-booked parties (normally seats 24; larger groups by arrangement). The museum is licensed for weddings, and available for corporate hospitality.
