Accessibility |
From the car park there is a short gentle ramp leading to the main entrance, where a set of double doors lead into the museum. |
The museum is on one level with wheelchair access between the exhibits. Though care must be taken where trail tracks are embedded in the floor surface. |
The museum welcomes assistance dogs and will even provide a bowl of water. |
Many of the exhibits can be freely touched with one audio visual display and a new multi-sensory experience for the blind and partially sighted. Touch tours can be arranged through a learning assistant officer, who is usually available Monday to Wednesday. Please contact the museum for further information. |
