Written on the back of this postcard dated August 1905:

"Dear T. many thanks for the letter. I hope you got my letter. I posted it at Tynemouth this morning. Had a nice day there and at Cullercoats. We must go there on Saturday. Too wet to go to Newcastle tonight. Hope to hear from you soon. Love Jean."
