An ugly and interesting fish is the monkfish, reputed to be the laziest fish in the sea. Its head is twice as big as its body, and on the top of its mouth are two tentacles, one with a ball dangling over its ever open mouth, and in goes the wary fish to its doom. In the inside of some of the codfish two and three whole herrings are found.
