Tyne Lives the tells stories of the people and communities of the Tyne, |
|
The aim of Tyne Lives is to make information on local history available on-line to schools. Many of the projects are suitable for primary school children. By using a combination of maps, photographs, sound and newspaper cuttings the projects allow children to understand how our community developed over time. The site is interactive and visually attractive with many of the projects containing fun activities to encourage learning. |
